The Roud Bibliography
The Roud Bibliography contains full details of the sources used to create the Roud folk song and broadside indexes. The bibliography should give you enough details of the source for you to be able to obtain a copy for yourself. Most (but not all) of the resources listed in bibliography are available from VWML.
At the moment we are working to automatically link the source field in the Roud indexes to the relevant entries in the bibliography, but this work is far from complete (currently about 60,000 of the folk song entries and 40,000 of the broadside index entries are automatically linked, which accounts for the majority of the published sources in the indexes).
If a link exists then it is shown to the right of the source field in the results of a search in the Roud indexes. If, however, a link does not exist the source field contains a link to the bibliography, but you will have to search for the relevant bibliography entry yourself.
